interviews: alison

1. What has your impression been of the game thus far? How has it matched the expectations you had coming into it?

The challenges were as difficult as I suspected, they confuse me! But I look at things logically, not laterally. I really should because all of these other guys are kicking my butt. And some are not as friendly as I would have thought.

2. Do you have any early leads as to the identity of the cybermole? Do you think anyone has been bluffing to throw people off?

I definitely think there is a little cybermole activity going on. For sure in that first challenge. My early leads point to 5 or 6 people. That is the hard part, narrowing it down when there are so many tempting choices.

3. What has been your strategy thus far in the game? How well do you think it has worked?

It's the beginning of the game, my strategy has been to pay attention to what certain people are saying, or what they are not saying. To win some money real fast so that we can relax a bit after, because this is just too manic right now.

4. What did you think about the seating challenge? Did it surprise you that the first challenge of the game appeared to be difficult for the team to solve?

I fully expected a ton of bricks for the first challenge, I don't take anything for granted, I will continue to expect difficult challenges. I just wish I didn't have the doubts about a few people's clues. There can only be one cybermole, now the hard part is deciding which one it is.

5. How do you feel about your interaction with agency administration? Have they made things easier or harder for you?

Sometimes things are not explained fully in the rules, and I always look for the loophole somewhere, but our questions are answered promptly so we can continue, and I am really grateful for that.

6. Have you done anything suspicious to make people think that you might be the cybermole? Do you think that you have better chances of going onto the next episode because of your actions?

Not on purpose, let me assure you. The favorite number thing. I have 2, one is 16 and the other is 7. I took a guess and chose 16 and I threw them right off the track. All I wanted was to help solve the puzzle. Then, I think I'm sooooo brilliant, and figure out a question in 5 minutes, and I am so way off base I laugh at myself when they tell me the correct answer, because then of course it is obvious.

7. How do you feel about the way the team has worked together in the first episode?

I don't know about team dynamics, unfortunately it seems like a group of 6 year olds who don't like to share, and then there are the few who are always there trying to help the team, who are the well rounded 6 year olds I guess.

8. Which player has been the most valuable to your success as a team in the first two challenges?

Michael, I'd say at this point he is always around, and is really very smart.

9. How confident do you feel about the first X-Quiz? Do you think you can do well enough to survive the first execution? Who do you think will be the first to go?

I don't feel confident for the first one. I hope it will get easier, but you know, the odds are more and more against me. Logically I have the best chance on this one don't I? But I'd like to see what's coming, then I can relax.
