Well Justin's clue kinda screwed up my plan with Ethan's seating arrangement, but it could place Justin as the last seat with Joel's clue. -jeff

oh wow I never even thought of that clue and it so makes sense now! thanks Jeff I think I might have this thing figured out some I know think that I'm in the very back who knows! this is getting fun and interesting so do we all plan on posting are list tomorrow, or should we count on one person on posting it? I think we should kind of all post are own, just to be safe -justin

Let me list what I have so far and maybe someone can add-on or we can work from it.
1) Alison sits behind Michael
2) Sandee sits behind Mysty.
3) Justin may sit at the rear of the plane. (Joel's clue)
4) Justin sits behind someone whose fav num is 454.
5) The person in front of Ethan has three digits.
6) The person in front of Li has three digits.
7) Seat 5 contains someone whose fav num is 11.
8)Either Jeff or Sandee or Ethan sit in front of Li.
9) Either Jeff or Sandee sit in front of Ethan.
10) Omar cannot sit in seat four since seat five is odd." -jeff

OK, here's one way to figure out if I am sitting in front of Li or Ethan. According to Li's clue: *The person in front of you has a favorite number in which the hundreds place is the same as your ones place.* If Li's ones place is the same number as the number of french hens in The Twelve Days Of Christmas song. Then I am sitting in front of Li. If not, I am sitting in front of Ethan. So, we need Li to either agree or disagree that figure. -sandee

another idea! I just thought of this, Joels clue only states the person in the way back, so I'm thinkin that Joel is in the very front of the plane. what does everyone else think?? -justin

Alison/Micheal/Joel could easily switch with Ethan/Sandee/Mysty. I don't see anything in the clues that can tell use which set of three go where. OF course, this whole logic is based around the possiblity that Li is seat 5. I will be back on in the morning to see any additional thoughts or posts to this. -jeff

Thanks Li.....then that establishes: 1) Either Omar or Joel are sitting in seat 5.
2) We have one grouping of Li behind Sandee behind Mysty.
3) Alison behind Micheal
4) Justin is in back or Joel is if his clue pertains to himself (which would put Omar in seat 5)
5) Omar cannot sit in seat 4
We really need more info here and I am in meetings all day and will not be able to assist much more on this challenge.
We need a few answers to clarify this puzzle:
1) Does Joel sit in seat 5?
If Joel does not sit in seat 5 then Omar does and that would mean that Mysty has to sit behind him.
If Mysty does then thet places Sandee and Lia in their place. Also Joel's number would have to be three digits (unless Justin has a negative number which I believe he has alluded he does not)
2) If Joel does sit in seat 5 then I think the order has goes like this:
10 Justin
9 Omar
8 Jeff
7 Alison
6 Michael
5 Joel
4 Ethan
3 Li
2 Sandee
1 Mysty
3) If Joel does not sit in seat 5 then it has to go like this.

Hey all, Hope this proves the last few posts about my seating. My number is one digit and it is even. I will have more in a minute. -mysty

I agree with Jeff's scenario #2 with Joel in seat 5. I am definently in seat #1 unless someone's number is the same as a family with an only child. What do you think? -mysty

No worries Alison! I was almost positive about the fact that I was in front of you, so you didn't confuse me any. I like the way this is going though. All we need now is for Joel to say "yes I am in seat five!" and we've pretty much solved it. -michael

I have been watching the fun here and trying to figure out what the order might be. Two things first of all. I just wanted to make sure I could speak up, but yes I do sit in seat five. Let me just say that I am very thankful that you all understand. I agree with the list too, because all of the clues seem to point in that direction, from what I can tell. I won't be back on until 6pm PST when I get home. And I think that is past the deadline, so you all have ,y okay to do whatever is best for the group(in case anyone suggests we wait for agreement).
