captain's quarters: 1

Hey Omar, nice to see you. Guess we'll be bunk mates. Is it just the two of us in here? Notice they don't give anything away in this game, we have to wait and see. I hate that. hahaha. Anyway, it's nice to formally meet you one on one. I also like the green, very.... military... -alison

Hiya Alison. I think theres three per room, but I'm not sure. -omar

Hey, you're purty, Alison -omar

Thanks Omar... am i blushing??? Nobody's told me that online before.... It was a good day, let me assure you. -alison

Omar, I don't know if it's just you and I in here, but was wondering. Are you finding it hard to talk to people? I certainly am. I received messages in my forum from 2 people, and it was even strange writing back, everyone seems so shady. I'm not going to be diplomatic at all right now, I suspect you, but don't worry you're not alone, I have like 5 suspects. I was just wondering how other people (if there are others in here) feel about getting to know each other... Personally I find that the hardest part of the game so far. I wish we could pull it together communication wise, and maybe we can nail this next challenge, and the ones to follow. -alison

Alison, we all feel the same. I'm sure of it. I know, it's REALLY frustrating, but you have to keep in mind that it's not so easy to pull together a good game. Communication is the hardest part. I once hosted a game....it fell apart within 2 weeks, lol. I think that if we had a REAL chat room, things would be so much better. It's so hard to really express yourself when no one is around to read it and it's tough to have to visit each room every day and try to keep up with the posts and follow everything that is going on..... –omar

Hi guys! I'm your other mysterious bunk mate. I'm sorry I took so long just to reply, but I just came home from school. The timing of everything is quite hard for me to follow and it's getting kinda stressful. I'm amazed that I'm actually still here by the way and I'm really glad though. Anyway let me just tell you guys some stuff about myself. I'm 18/f and I live in Singapore. I'm studying right now and it's really hectic and I always have homework to do. -groan- enough about that, hope to see you guys around... :) -li

It's really nice to meet you. Singapore eh? I send people there all the time, but have never actually been myself! It must be so weird for you, the topic this episode, I hear Singapore is the safest place in the world to live.... And that you have GREAT shopping! I'm Alison, and I'm happy you're here! -alison

Hi there Alison, nice to meet you too! Btw I'm really glad to be here too, hope we have fun. :) Anyway, Singapore's quite ok I guess, I like it here because it is quite safe. And yup, the shopping's quite good too! :) However there really aren't many other things I can do for entertainment as there aren't many outdoor activities available. I really like to play sports and doing stuff in the outdoors..
Anyway, how has the game been going for you? I think it's fun, but quite hard. And to tell you the truth, you can't help but suspect everyone and I hate this feeling of paranoia. But then again, that's just me, I'm extremely worrisome. :) haha -li

Hi, Li. Nice to meet ya! :) -omar

Is she sleeping already??? Omar, go jump on her bed... haha -alison

I just scored a really cool job downtown, so I'm in a greeeeaaat mood! -omar

Wow, good for you!! Is it one you had your eye on for a while, or kinda fell in your lap? The reason I ask is that a friend of mine was offered a job she didn't know existed on Friday, and it doubled her salary.... Just out of the blue... Unfortunately, she found out she was pregnant on Sunday, and had to turn it down because it was a management position. -alison

Being 18, it's not so easy to find a "real" job. I'd rather die of cancer than work at a fast-food place, I really would. My previous job was at a coffee house with my friend. I got paid very little, so I dropped out. My next choice was at the very top of a skyscraper in downtown SF as a waiter in a cafe, lol. It paid very well but my mom made me turn it down due to the 9.11 tragedies, which is ridiculous. But whatever. So, last week, my dad found me a job at a warehouse his drinking-buddy owns. All I have to do is record shipments etc. Nothing much. But it beats flipping bugers..... –omar

I hear ya, I'm a girl, so I definitely did my share of burger flipping. But not for long, I got to work at the drive thru after about 6 weeks, so it wasn't so bad. I'm in an actual career now, but I was 24 before I got into it. I just had low paying, socializing type jobs. Now it's the real stuff, enjoy the choices while you can.
Are you noticing these challenges stalling? I haven't seen too many posts coming up on either side. I think the banning is going to have some sort of effect on the outcome. –alison

She's in Singapore, remember? But I'll jump on her bed anyways......hee hee. -omar
