challenge 3: redemption

What happened during that puzzle challenge with Joel? He got the first question about measuring the water easily so could he just not do the others? I don't know why they wouldn't let us go in and see what was going on.” –sandee (message to Michael)

I think that Joel believed that once that one was answered, he didn't have to do any more. I could have used his help though... –michael (message to sandee)

As you guys are desparate to have found out the seating challenge last episode, we have decided to give you one more chance. But unfortunately this time, the challenge is only worth $4. But hey, hopefully you'll be able to get it this time. Even though one person is missing, we'll give you his position: Ethan was 9th in line. Hopefully you took heed when I reminded you to "take notes" of all the things you might need in your personal forum...as all of your clues have disappeared from your personal forums. Luckily though, this time you may legitimately declare your favorite number according to our records. This should make it a lot easier. Hopefully you have remembered your clues though... We take a bit of pity on those that worked very hard in the last roundtable discussion. We have decided that it was clear that only two people significantly added to the discussion: Joel and Michael. For that, they will be both given their clues in their personal forums. –grosenbaum

Fortunately I have everyone's clues also.....since I did take notes.....however, they are at home right now.....and I am at work. If everyone wants to post their numbers, I can easily use my notes to submit an answer for everyone's approval later tonight. –jeff

I too have everyones clues, and I have them right here, so here it is
Michael-"the person behind you has a fav. number which is the same as your ones place"
Alison-"The person in front of you has a fav. number in which the ones place is the same as your fav. number."
Omar-" The person in behind you has an even number."
Sandee- here clue is either " The person in front of you has a fav. number which is one half of yours minus 150" or its " the person sitting in front of you has a fav. number which could be used to describe twins."
Justin-" If you add 222 and then subtract 660 from the fav. number of the person in front of you, you will gert your fav. number."
Li- The person in front of you has a fav. number in which the hundreds place is the same as your ones place.
Joel-"the person at the back's fav. number is the same as the amount of the letters in his/her name."
Mysty-"the person behind you has a fav. number which is double yours in the ones place."
Ethan-"Your fav. number has the same amount of digits as the person in front of you"
I hope this helps would you like me to post our old list? –justin

My favorite number is indeed 11. This was correct in the first attempt at this challenge. –joel

Did anyone keep the actual list that we had submitted? I now see the importance of keeping notes! –michael

If I am not mistaken.....our original list was correct except for Omar and Ethan. That would make it:
1 Mysty
2 Sandee
3 Li
4 Omar
5 Joel
6 Michael
7 Alison
8 Jeff
9 Ethan
10 Justin
Let's check the numbers as they come in, but I think we were soooo close. BTW: mine was also guessed correctly ---- 101” –jeff

my fav. number is 6 which puts me at the end of the list, with Ethan in front of me and I think Joel is in front of Sandee –justin

If you remove the zero in your tens position you will get the favorite number of the person in seat 5. Or something close to that.....I have the original text at home. -jeff

And Omar did not have a number, at least that's what he said..... –joel

Didn't have one? Oh... Did someione have a clue about seat one being non-existant? That would shift some people around then wouldn't it? therefore:
1 omar
2 mysty
3 sandee
4 li
5 joel
etc.... –jeff

My number is 27 and Alison's is 7” –michael

Yeah, that list looks better. All I definately know for sure is that Mysty is infront of me and Li is behind me. –sandee

ok folks, we should get this one done ASAP what is everyones thoughts on the list? Jeff did you want to take a shot on this one again? I know we still have a day, but lets get the ideas flowing we need the money bad –justin

Whoever wants to post it is fine.....or I can post it in the morning if no one else has by then......is everyone happy with the new list? –jeff

Final answer:
1 Omar
2 Mysty
3 Sandee
4 Li
5 Joel
6 Michael
7 Alison
8 Jeff
9 Ethan
10 Justin” –jeff

All were correct...
Jackpot to date: $ 4
Congratulations on winning the money!” –jpringman

YES!
good job Jeff
thanks a bunch –justin

yay! thanks jeff, and congratulations to everyone! :) –li

Great job Jeff, now we actually have some money! Wheeeeeee!!! –joel

MONEY! Awesome work guys! –michael

Great! Finally something to build on! I'm so excited, it seems real now. Lets add a whole bunch more on this next challenge, are you with me guys???!!! -alison

Let's begin with the hotel rooms... I have been placed with one of my cybermole suspects and the person whom I ranked least likely to get along with. Very interesting, to say the least. I am hoping that through this episode (in the hotel rooms) that Justin and I will become closer and that he will move up in my ranks next time around. As for Sandee... she seems nice enough, but I still have no clue.
I am very happy to have made it into the second episode. I now have a chance to redeem myself for screwing up the clock challenge, as well as a chance to learn from my mistakes *cough*nottakingnotes*cough* I hope that after this episode we will have actually gained some money and that I will still be around to enjoy it.
I have to address my "relationship" with Omar. I don't know how he can expect to be helped when he has done nothing to help us! Besides that, I find out that he has asked more than just myself about an alliance. I have toyed with some people, keeping my options open, but for the most part, I don't see a point of an alliance this early.
Biggest cybermole suspect is Jeff. He's a great guy, but has a weird aura about him "give me your numbers and i'll post a list of people in the seats." Yeah right! How forward is that. This game is about trust right now and I don't trust him at all! –michael (confessional)
