I don't know what to say. I see suspects. Everywhere I look, there they are... well, looky here, Sandee seems to be in the middle of everything, and I'm still not giving up on those 2 clues she had in the seating challenge. Jeff, still the clues and stuff... Michael, being the savior of the challenges, is this because he wants to win money? Or is it because he wants to throw suspicion as far away from himself as possible at the beginning, so nobody will suspect him. Now Joel, talking about how he wants to try and win the XX, he didn't even come around. I wanted some team work, some sharing of information, and he's closed. He was way down at the bottom of my suspect list, now he's right there under Justin Sandee and Jeff, and then Michael too... This is crazy, I'm going nuts. And enjoying every minute of it. –alison (confessional)
Hey there... We didn't win the XX, I'm sorry, but nobody was ever on at the same time, and I got the same kind of responses as you did. Some people didn't respond to me at all. But our interrogation room has opened, and I started asking a few questions. I am thinking about watching for the most helpful person. The rules say they don't know anything about our challenge, and that they DO know they are supposed to keep it a secret. So if one of them gives it up without a fight, I think it would be because they know it's going to lose the money (if they won any). But!!! As a strategy, I was thinking that if we lose the money by posting the answer, why don't we just NOT post the answer... You know, get all the answers we need, but not post a final answer... We can see who's willing to rat them out, but not lose the money.. Tell me what you think? But please, I re-read the rules of the challenge, and I think that we lose the money they win if they tell us. Or I may be reading it wrong. Can you please let me know, because if it's just for MORE money, than cool, we can post an answer. Sorry, long winded. –alison (message to joel)
Sheeesh. The coded msg challenge certainly had me racking my brain. I am so glad I figured it out first....funny thing is, I actually dreamt about the solution last night. I guess that is when I do my best thinking anyway, since I commonly sleep on problems and awaken with solutions. The odd thing though with the solution however is that it implicates another member of the group as to the identity of the cybermole. I think it is really a false lead but it definately will make me watch him/her a little more.....funny too that (s)he jumped right into the forum moments after I submitted the solution....wonder if (s)he's scared of getting caught. So now I have to watch two people that I am suspicious of....my original gut feeling and now this new lead.....arrrrgh! Sad thing is....I can't even write my own name in the cracked code.... :( –jeff (confessional)
Hey Sandee, well it seems that this is the first time that we have really talked other than on the public boards. Hope you are enjoying the game so far. I thought maybe we could work together on trying to root out who this CyberMole might be. One of the ways I figured we could do this, is narrow down how active some of these people are in their posting. Just out of curiosity, what order have Michael, Li and yourself posted on the board for your challenge. Perhaps if we know that Michael is first and you are second and Li is third, and we notice this trend on other boards then we can use this information. That would be awesome if you could get back to me on this. Thanks! –joel (message to sandee)
Michael has posted a lot. Then Li. I haven't posted much because the problem we are working on was over my head. I have the cybermole already narrowed down to two people. It's 50/50 between them in my mind. I won't tell you who they are. Anyway, I hope my answer to your question helps you in your quest to find the cybermole. –sandee (message to joel)
Hey Jeff, I wanted to talk a little bit about the challenge, but according to the rules we cannot talk about it in the hotel room. I noticed that you are working with Omar, Mysty and Justin on your challenge. I actually just had a quick question for you about the challenge. Who were the first and last people to post during that challenge. Trying to get an idea of how active people are in doing these challenges. It may help us track down the CyberMole a little bit. Let me know, thanks. –joel (message to jeff)
Not to sound rude...but I don't think we are allowed to discuss the challenges in any forum except the challenge forum. –jeff (message to joel)
I thought we were allowed to talk about the challenges somewhat in these personal messages. If we were not allowed they would have just refused to send this message. –joel (message to jeff)
Okay my prime cybermole suspect is really confusing me!!! He goes around acting suspicious, yet he still manages to win money for the rest of us. I do believe that he is a little too anxous to do well though. We did have a whole 24 hours before that challenge had to be done. Also, he has this way of solving challenges, yet not letting the rest of us into the game until he has actually figured it out. Example one stems from the first challenge where he kept his clue hidden until we no longer needed it. Example two would be today. He could have told the rest of us the code, but he chose to keep all the glory for himself. He is a strong player, but he is a powerhog. I would not be disappointed if the cybermole came knocking at his door! –michael (confessional)
Hey there! I thought I should say hello this episode. I'm totally thrilled about getting the second chance on that seating challenge. We were communicating better by then so it was fantastic. I was thinking that if we kept up communication, even if we aren't in the same hotel room or challenge, that it would be easier on us for the next match up. And we can keep building that pot. –alison (message to michael)
Hey! I'm heading into exams this week, so the game has taken second position, but I didn't forget about you. I agree with keeping up communication. It may even be better if we're not together because that way we can cover more ground. I'm just as worried this time around as I was last episode about the xquiz. The people whom I had suspected are making it harder and harder to suspect them any longer. I guess I'll be guessing again this time. Let's hope I'm as lucky as I was last time. –michael (message to alison)
Hey there, since we aren't in the same hotel room, I thought I'd say hello. I'm having a great time in this game. The challenges are so much fun, but frustrating too. Because communication is so important, I'm trying to say hello to everyone so that we can hopefully communicate better so we can add some more money into the pot. That $4.00 rocks! We only lost $1.00, and we would have done that by asking for a position anyway. I was thrilled. Anyway, I'm hoping to put some more money into the jackpot, and I'm hoping that by saying "hello" to everyone, we can open up the channels for communication. P.S. I haven't received any messages from anyone this episode so I was also feeling lonely. )c: –alison (message to jeff)
Hi......yeah...it is cool that we finally got the seat assignments. This whole msg thing is pretty tough for some people and remain quiet cause they hate to type, but hopefully we will get this thing organized a little better. I know you can't talk about your challenge, but I assume you and Joel are working hard to put more bucks in the bank. This is a lot of fun.....a lot better than I expected really. –jeff (message to alison)
Hey Alison! I was hoping we could talk some. We chicas got to stick together. I think if we put each other at the top of our likeability list on the next interview we might get put in a hotel room together. You want to try that and see if it works?” –sandee (message to alison)
Definitely WOMAN POWER!!! Stick together, great idea... I love the freedom of speaking in the hotel rooms. I've learned to not expect anything. Expect the worst, hope for the best, that way you won't be disappointed. But not #1 though, something like #3 so that we'll be mixed into the 'middle class' hopefully. Nah, we'll try 1st place first, and 3rd place next time. X <--- crossing fingers to be here next time. I'm hoping that your chicks staying together means that we'll be able to help each other... –alison (message to sandee)
