challenge 4: joel and alison's hideout

I don't really understand how all of this works. I think though that we won't lose any money by posting an answer, we can only not win our XX. Does this sounds right to you. Wehre does it say that if we post any answer at all that they will lose their challenge money? I thought it only mentioned if we were successful. So I say that we post an answer anyways and see if we win or not. What do you think? –joel

I get the impression Sandee is really wanting to go for this, she is nice enough (?) to give us these answers in a convincing way. She isn't really telling us, but is telling us. Order of posts would be
Michael
Jeff
Justin
Omar
Sandee
Mysty
Li
And they had to break a code to get into something. So their steps would be to figure out what the code stands for, decipher it, and then decode it, but what did it lead to? Another board, what was there, I guess I should ask them HUH??? Wow, this is going to work, we still have a few hours, like 2 I think. –alison

I also got that same list from Jeff, so it seems that she is not the only one that wants to help. Also for some interesting reading go read the challenge 3 board and see Sandee's story. She is giving us some sort of hint as to what the code breaking challenge was all about. We have that list. Also here is some information that we have about what they had to do:
They cooperated well as a team
One person seemed to do a lot more than the others. Sandee mentioned this so I would say that it wasn't her. The only other candidate I would say would be Michael.
Both of the other 2 groups worked together on the challenge.
They had to break a code that related to their original codes that we were given at the start of the game.
Anything else I missed? –joel

I say they really didn't give us all the information, and we should do what we think is right for the team... If they don't break ANY rules, and we get the answers, we should win money, because I think the XX is over for sure.. I read on one of the things, one of them said "We can't talk about this" And someone else mentioned losing the pot if they talked, so I was confused, it is why I re-read our challenge, but I still am not positive. I think we should post what we know, we have a bit more to get though. I'm going to read it again... I just don't understand why we were to interrogate them, and then if we didn't win, interrogate them anyway, they don't give a reason... I fear a trick of some kind.. Paranoia, caused by this game... –alison

What IF???? We all got agent names and passwords right? And on the main board, someone asked "what are the agent names and passwords for anyway" So, maybe they were trying to get us to give them our agent names, because they had to figure out the code to decode them, and THEN figure out who belonged to who??? They would totally do that too, because that would be harder than the seating challenge. Or it could be backwards to that, we have to get more answers... urggg Do you notice we keep overlapping each other when we post? –alison

Ahhh Alison that sounds like you reall might be on to something. That would make a lot of sense, and it would really fit in why Sandee, who is quite bright, would ask about the agent names and passwords. So I guess all we would need to find out after this is what the other group thought that we were doing in our challenge. They have not answered this very well yet, I think we should re-ask the question again. –joel

Ok Sandee posted again in and she mentioned something about how good Jeff was at cracking codes. I really think this is a dead giveaway that Jeff did most of the work on that challenge. Great job Sandee! –joel

I saw it as Jeff was the one who eventually cracked the code. I don't understand most of it though, can you translate it for me? haha, I wonder about the cybermole board, what was that, we have to get them to tell us that. –alison

omar told me Well, I suggested that the # of digits in the code may relate to someone who has an equal number of digits in their name....it was a good idea, but it wasn't right, LOL. That could tell us one of the steps. –alison
