Whining is okay in small doses... I know how you feel though, I am sleep deprived on most days too. I am a rough sleeper, up about once an hour and I'm up at 5:30 every day, and it is awful... Once or twice a year, I get to sleep a whole day... Because we have a kid too... My little whine, done now. –alison

Sex Pistols, YES! I love most any 70's punk/power pop like The Sex Pistols, Stiff Little Fingers, Sham 69, The Rezillos, The Buzzcocks......that stuff is great. Not this psuedo-punk around today like Green Day. Same goes for Ska. Real ska is great. The Specials and bands like that, but not particularly ska-revival like No Doubt. You have a great varied taste, like me. I mean, a list that includes The Sex Pistols, Marilyn Manson, and Lynyrd Skynyrd is pretty ecclectic. Know what? Slipknot frighten me. I read an interview where the drummer said he likes to puke in his mask before every concert so he can smell it during the show. Gawd! –sandee

OMG I forgot Destiny's Child... I LOVE THEM... I can't believe I forgot. Omar, your music selection matches my hubby's almost perfectly... Michael, the only song by Destiny's Child I like is Bugaboo. I had never heard of Sugar Jones. I had to do a websearch on them. Appearantly they are Canada's version of the US's Eden's Crush and the UK's Hear'Say. –sandee

Yeah, they're really good too. I never watched the show, so I didn't know about that, but I loved the song : Days like that. And then the newest one, I can't remember. Manufactured can still make good music I think. –alison

For sure. The Monkees were manufactured and a lot of their stuff was great. And a really good country band, Highway 101, were manufactured too. –sandee

Slipknot is'nt what you'd call "tasteful", but they're ok I guess. I've loved the Sex Pistols for a while now! They're really great. I also love music from the 60's. Dunno, I have poster of Jimmy Hendrix on my wall, he's great, lol. Ska is cool. Agreed. –omar

Hey Everyone. I listen to an eclectic assortment of music. It really depends on what kind of mood I am in. Whenever I am cleaning my house I will put on The Tragically Hip, or something else loud that I can scream to while cleaning. While driving it is sometimes the same but in general I have the coountry music station on in the car. Sunday mornings is almost always Christian Contemporary like Caedmon's Call etc. Umm thats about it, my CD collection has just about everything in it. –joel

I love Contemporary Christian music too. I really like Audio Adrenalin, DC TALK, the Newsboys, and my favorite is Rebecca St. James. I have her first 3 CD's with GOD being my favorite. Have you ever seen her in concert? She puts on a spectacular show and gives quite a testimony during it too. –sandee

COUNTRY????? Nah, just kidding man, my two best friends are country music junkies.... And I bug them about it all the time. I just can't get into it... I like a select few songs, like "Goodbye Earl" from the Dixie Chicks. The newer country is turning into pop somehow anyway... Are you a new country or an old country boy? P.S. The rest of my friends are REALLY into the Hip, but again, I just can't get into them.. Don't know why... They say I am unpatriotic because they are Canadian, so I should love them....Well, ummmm, so is Celine Dion (even though she may think differently) and I don't like her... To be honest, I could probably pick one song from EVERY individual singer/band that I like, but not necessarily the whole band. –alison

once being a theatre major, I got into broadway tunes Rent is my all time fav., only seen it once, but MAN was it ever so good and I listen to it all the time. I LOVE IT! and of course I like all that other stuff, pretty much stick to the top 40. Don't like rap at all and not a big country fan. Marylin Manson scares me –justin

I agree on the Marilyn Manson thing... I also agree with a movie (that you may not have seen) Sugar Town, where John Taylor says "Marilyn Manson is just another Alice Cooper" He's not original at all, he stole everything from the girls name to the makeup under the eyes... Same type of music, everything.. But at least Alice Cooper seemed to be normal in real life... That guy's frightening. -alison
