challenge #7: main chat forum

Another thing I think is weird is that my sports shoes have to be a half a size bigger than my dress shoes....I guess my feet expand when I am exercising. –jeff

I wear a size ten and most shoes are ok but Converse, I like them a lot
but ONE HUGE problem
size ten and up look like huge clown shoes!
so I don't wear them, even thought they are cool shoes
how come some women like shoes so much? I can buy one pair and wear them for a year or more, than buy another pair wear those for a year and so on and so on –justin

Justin, I am literally the only girl I personally know who is exactly like you. I have shoes for what I need shoes for. Running shoes, casual shoes, a pair of dress shoes. And until I break a pair, or they wear out, I don't ever go looking for shoes. It drives me crazy, I don't think they look great. I'm a size 8, and that is the most popular size, so only yukky stuff is always left for me. –alison

I know what you mean
I have running shoes, shoes I wear everyday and then shoes for the fancy stuff
why do people need shoes for every outfit and every occasion and that
isn't one enough
running shoes I can undestand, since you can get mad blisters if you use regular street shoes
and shoes for the fancy occasions, well everyone just has them
but yeah –justin

See my problem with shoes has always been the fact that I have had large feet for a while now. My feet are size 12 and have been since I was about 13. Kind of sucked but hey what can ya do.... –joel

Well Alison, you're not the only girl who just sticks to a pair of shoes until they break. I'm a size 9, which is not very easy to shop here since most women aren't this tall and have feet sized like mine. Oh well, what to do. :) -li

So I asked my husband about his opinion on the last question I posed about tall women and shorter men and he said that it could be an issue of who looks the most dominant in the relationship. He said he read an article in Men's Health magazine that said that shorter men have a problem with getting respect, showing authority, and even seem less honest. He said that at 5'6" he has seen this first hand in the business world. Supposedly, it doesn't affect a woman's aura one bit, which at 5'7" I'm glad to hear. Personally, I think a person gets the respect they earn not matter what their height. Any comments? –sandee

Respect? I don't know, I get a lot of respect in the workplace, but only after I've proven myself, not because of what I look like. But at 5'2 I get bugged all the time about being so small. My hubby on the other hand is 5'8, and he is at a crossroads. He's not only smaller than average, but is also thinner than average, and people think that he can't do things, like lift heavy equipment and stuff, when really he is freakishly strong, and very well built in the top half of his body. For jobs and things though, he loses out to the bigger men. –alison

I don't really know why Men have a problem with it
but I'm also 6'1" and never dated a girl taller than me
but I usually date girls who are near my height
I prefer tall woman for some reason –justin

Thank you Justin for your open and honest response. I wish more people were forthcoming like you. –sandee

Hah well I am 6'3" and I got you beat Justin, I wonder if I am the tallest here? -joel

I thought we were supposed to work together to earn money. I told the other group my shoe size, but none of them will say how tall they are and they obviously know what we are trying to figure out. I think I have been the most cooperative player in all of the challenges, but I swear, if our group doesn't get any answers because everyone is so busy pretending to be the cybermole I am going to forget about winning money for the pot altogether (good news for your pocketbooks, yes?) and just focus on passing the xquizzes. I don't really care about winning any money anyway. I made my goal of not being one of the first 3 cut so the rest is just gravy for me. If they don't care about the money then neither do I. –sandee (confessional)

I am so glad that Sandee got the exemption! Granted, this may mean my early departure from the game, but at least my Scarlette will advance for sure. I really hope that I am not the one to go this time around. I think that I am going to stick with my original 2 suspects on this Xquiz as well. It's done me some good up until now and so, until something really concrete comes up, I'm going to have to stick with the same game plan. –michael (confessional)

I am a little ticked off that Sandee and ALison feel the need to slam me on the public challenge boards. It's not like I have been intentioanlly ignoring challenges and I have logged in every day. I have not walked away from the game or anything. I have participated in every challenge in the game and won rewards for both roundtable discussions. I mean what do they expect? I just hope that we can patch things up. I was fully prepared to defend myself but did not see much of a point as people see what they want to see. I think that people have thought less of me being CyberMolish due to my inactivity. I am going to need to participate a little more if I can to get their interest back in me. We'll see what happens though. –joel (confessional)

I've just noticed more of a strangeness about the way Joel plays the game... He just saved our butts in this last challenge... I wasn't here until just now, we would have missed the deadline. I don't know, he just seems like he'd make a very good cybermole, and what else do I have to go on at this point... It just makes sense to me. –omar (confessional)
