a last second chance for reversal. a last second false step. a last second desperation.

I would like to ask for an official reevaluation of our winnings on this challenge.
1) Alison and I considered our challenge over when we successfully finished the maze.
2) Concerning Alison and I discussing the maze in our hotel room. We were both doing the same challenge and we had both made it out on our own. With no help from the other (or anyone else). We only discussed between ourselves and the only person left to go through the maze was Joel and since he didn't make it, it is obvious that we didn't help him.
Whatever your decision, I want the rest of the players to know that I don't believe that I did anything wrong in either situation and I am sorry for losing the $8 if the decision goes against me. -sandee

official rules:: All decisions regarding the Program, including but not limited to, rules, eligibility, Program production, game play, Tasks, Quizzes and award of prizes, are at Producers’ sole and exclusive discretion, are final and not subject to appeal::

Statement 1: You explicitly state that the action occured when two players decided that the challenge was over. You say it yourself: "Alison and I considered". However, a challenge is never over until a host/producer/etc declares it as over or the deadline has officially passed.

Statement 2: "all material and words concerning your group's specific challenge must be confined within that certain challenge forum and may NOT be posted on the main chat forum nor in the themed hotel rooms until the full challenge has been expired or when granted permission by the host." -posted at the top of every forum.
I repeat:
...until the FULL challenge has been expired or when granted permission. The full challenge did not expire at that moment, nor had the guilty parties been given permission to speak regarding the outcome of his/her portion of the challenge.

Total penalties stand: $8 x 3 = $24 - ($4 per penalty x 2) = $16 won. –axthemole

Well, now I'm completely confused..........But I felt I had to try. –sandee

I don't know what to say, I don't have much difference in this episode from last. I had a lot less communication with the others this episode, being kidnapped and all. I am glad that Sandee's appeal did not lose us any more money than we already had lost. The thing I'm finding hard is confessing 2x each episode. I don't know how I'm going to do it before the end of this episode, but I'll try. –alison (confessional)

Technically speaking, this would be my second confession for the ep, I do hope some one would confirm my suspicions asap since I probably won't be around tomorrow! -grr- Anyway, this whole ep has been relatively uneventful for me... I didn't really participate in the jailbreak challenge, or much in the topic challenge either. I also haven't been talking to my roommate Joel much either. -sigh- It's been quite a boring week as you can tell, with nothing happening. Hmm... I hope I'm right on my suspect, although if I am, all I can say is that my sixth sense is pretty good and my investigative skills really suck. -haha- A part of me wishes that I can make it through to the next ep, yet another part of me is hoping that I get out of the game now so that I can free up some time for myself. I've been really bogged down by a lot of stuff, and I haven't been feeling great for quite a while. Oh well, I'll just see how it goes. –li (confessional)

Well I don't know what all the hubbub is about concerning the challange sum, but Sandee certainly griped enough. I saw it immediately when she posted something about the challenge when she should not have....I think it was a deliberate attempt to coax us into believing she is the cybermole....didn't work on me...or maybe it did....I am not sure. I am looking forward to the xQuiz and the next round .... I am sorry that the next player to be eliminated will be...hmm...I dunno.....Joel.... –jeff (confessional)

Well I have decided more on how I plan to play the game. I am going to stay emotionally uninvolved with everyone and play the cocky, knows he has it won guy! I figure at least that way everyone has someone who they don't want to see win. It adds to the suspense of the game. Everyone will be rooting for me to be out but I will keep trying to stay in of course. I will have to see how it goes. I hope I am not out, if I am not then I think I have it nailed as to who the CyberMole is. After that it is just a matter of good record keeping and making sure that I record everything that I see and hear. This is all about winning for me now. I entered it just wanting to have some fun and hey if I won then great. But now my competitive nature has gone into overdrive and they are going to have to work hard to get me out of here. I will be really hoping that red thumbprint is not on my name soon so that I can KNOW who the CyberMole is. –joel (confessional)

I just finished taking the xquiz. Actually, I don't know why I took it so early because now I just have longer to worry about it. Oh well, worrying is my life's calling so I'll survive. Just wanted to take this opportunity to wish everyone good luck on the quiz. I like each and every one of you and I will hate to see anyone leave. Of course, if it is I who dies please have a lovely memorial service for me. –sandee

Yes good luck to everyone else. I don't need luck I got it nailed!! Hopefully.....**mumble mumble** –joel

Good luck everyone and I hope to see most of you in the next episode. –jeff

I don't know about that one... There were a few that I had no access to the info for since I didn't play in the challenge... I had fun! If I go, I'll miss you all! Good luck! –michael

unfortunately, you did not submit your second confessional before the episode deadline. in as such, you have been assessed the standard omission penalty for all consequent (including the current) xquizzes. –grosenbaum (message to alison)
