OK guys and girls.......here is a real stretch...but I used the actual letter from our informant ("I hope this aids you."---'this' meaning this letter????) and taking the letters in sequence out of the note and rearranging them spells:
OE CODES ???Old English Codes??? Or
SOE CODE ???Special Operations Executive Code???
Well???? It's a start...... :) –jeff
hey, I just thought of something maybe these are our fav. numbers mine is in there could it have something to do with another order or maybe the numbers is this first letter in our names –justin
My favorite number isn't in there. I think they are looking for a seven letter word with each number corresponding to a letter. I don't know what the number code is though. It's just they said we are looking for a password. I don't know about you all, but all of my computer passwords are words. Maybe the word has something to do with the cybermole's identity. –sandee
It may have something to do with Michael.....you know, he's got 7 letters in his name...... –omar
this seems very difficult. I'm still working on it, but I like Jeff's theory. Since only 2 of us can go into the chamber, maybe Omar is right and that the code corresponds to one of our names - Michael. And he gets to choose the second person. –mysty
I don't see how these numbers relate to me.... Sorry! –michael
I am also wondering if the request from HQ was any clue.....
2 who question authority.....assumably doing challenge 1.
3 that are a SOURCE of authority
4 that can see BOTH SIDES of the coin
I thought perhaps that meant that one of the four would have access to both challenges, but I (as one of the four) cannot get in their forum. –jeff
Ugh. This is irritating. I'm going out for coffee. What do you guys drink? –omar
No coffee for me thanks......it stunts your growth.....well, that's what my father says. –jeff
I like Jeffs idea, but I do like the theory of it being Michaels name and him choosing another person to go with him I'm still not sure this is a tough one –justin
No It doens't! I've been drinking coffee since I was a kid and I'm 6 '1 and growing.
53-95-6-70-68-42-3
We should try WRITING OUT the awnsers......
53 + 95 + 6 + 70 + 68+ 42 + 3 = ThreeHundredThirtySeven
Password: ThreeHundredThirtySeven –omar
I have another potential theory, but it requires some assistance from specifically Michael, Li, and Sandee (unless I am chasing my tail (or is it tale??) again. Did we all get the same password to access this forum? My theory is that Sandee, Li, and Michael may each have a portion of the password---hence, SOURCE of authority in the earlier request. Still stabbing in the dark..... –jeff
Sounds good to me. My password was 'kem'. –omar
I had "kem" as well –michael
Well there goes that theory. 8-)” –jeff
Unfortunately mine was kem also. I don't see what that would have had to do with that series of numbers anyway. However, I can't figure out anything else either. If we keep up this performance who ever wins this game is going to owe the producers money. –sandee
this one is way to confusing and the clue doesn't really say much except its a code remember when they gave us thos secret codes maybe we use the grid they gave us and thats the password –justin
Good idea Justin. Maybe Michael should use his secret codes and see if those seven numbers make a word of some kind. –sandee
I just had another thought. Remember when we were first accepted into the game we had to chose an agent name and number (not the secret number and code that they sent us)? Well, my agent name has 7 letters. I don't know if this means anything because I can't find any connection between those letters and the numbers in the code. –sandee
I thought about those too Sandee but that still doesn't help with the single digit numbers. –jeff
I think that this puzzle is really hard... Btw, I agree with Jeff's theory about the letters in the informant's letter because it makes sense. However I don't really have any idea what the code means. –li
Well the only way that SOE CODE makes sense is if someone has been told of one of the executive codes---or a high level code of some kind. Or possibly it is even simpler---CODE SOE maybe SOE is the code....doubt it...but, I don't know....did anyone in our group get a numeric decoder? Mine was alpha, so I can't help there....Justin made it sound like his was numeric. –jeff
Well the challenge, seems to be going nowhere
none of us can figure it out
I have been trying so many different things
but nothing seems to make any sense
its to confusing
and we can't really just let it go
we have no money as it is
Michael and I are doing pretty good now
I don't dislike him as of right now, but he also hasn't said anything to me to make me not like him
I think it was a great idea for them to put us in a room together
Sandee is cool too and it kind of makes me wonder if she is the cybermole
I still have my eye on Omar
he is still way to suspicious for me
I really think he is the Cybermole
I will keep my eye on him –justin (confessional)
