challenge 5: the kem code

I am a freakin' genius!!! I have cracked the code....however, I believe the CyberMole is within our forum and am afraid to list the details out here....but I am on to you CyberMole!!!! I guess my only question to you CyberMole is whether or not you really thought you could get away with this! Tee hee! But trust me people.....I have cracked the code....I am not sure if I have to actaully list out the decode or if just my word is enough. Maybe I can just code back, eh? 24-89-19-27-66-99 –jeff

We still have to decide who is going...but I am waiting for confirmation that we can go ahead.....if we get one. I think I should go...yes...but who will go with me? Maybe we just make an oficial post that I am going and we list another.... Who wants to go hunting with me? –jeff

I too believe that the cybermole is in here with us, but I still think that you need to list the answer. That's what it says in the initial post. "Post your answer and then pick who you want to go to the computer terminal." So if you don't list the answer soon we could be in big trouble. I had slept on it and come up with two possible solutions, but since you already have it figured out I guess I'll just skip mine. I really wish I knew what yours was though so I could see if either of mine were even close. –sandee

Sandee----test your theories and see if you get as excited as I did when I broke it. when you break the code, it is sooooo obvious that it is unmistakably correct. However, it does not say that I have to post the answer.....or at least that is not the way I interpretted it. I will if everyone wants me to....but I hate to show my hand so early to the cybermole....although it may be too late for that now. –jeff

Personally I think it is imperative to ask the first question at least. Who wants to join me on the final part of the challenge? It will require being on the computer until the challenge is done (I assume)---none of this on-for-five-minutes-come-back-in-an-hour. I am willing to do it but I do have a meeting from 4-5pm EST---we should have until eightish EST. -jeff

Well, we may have to. If no one has posted any complaints or other suggestions by the time I get back from my meeting, I will post myself and Michael as runner. That gives them two hours to post ideas and three hours for us to finish.....hopefully that will be enough time for us to accompish our task Michael. –jeff

Oh...it has nothing to do with the theory of my code.....that is completely sound....I am confident in that. But my question is in regards to what the access code is.....since the decoded msg could be interpretted as a question....kinda....so the answer may be the access code....but whether the access code is numeric or alpha would be helpful. –jeff

I assume the task of figuring out the code was the first part of thecahllenge and when we get tot he terminal there will be another code to decode using the orignal code.....etc....that is what I am hoping. –jeff

how the heck did you figure out the code? I am usually pretty good with that sort of thing, but I was way too confused about that one. I'm looking forward to being your partner in the next part though. We ususally seem to work well together! –michael (message to jeff)
