Did you guys have a least favorite challenge?
Wow least favorite, that's a tough one....I really enjoyed a lot of the challenges. I would have to say that I did not enjoy the challenge where we were supposed to insult each other. Not my idea of fun.....ummm, also the travel one in the last episode was not very fun either, I think that was mainly from confusion though. –joel
Definately the Java travel one.....too confusing.....I think the concept was great and could have been fun if it had been explained a little bit better......like when to post, how to post, and such.....I am totally shocked we got any money on that one. –jeff
My least favorite challenge was the insult one. I can't see being mean to someone for any reason. Especially no reason. This is just a game, and people are here to do their own thing and try to make it... One's job was to sabotage the effort... But in no way does either objective require being nasty to any other player. If there was anything wrong with this, it was trying to start conflict for ratings..... Too much hate in this world people. Besides that, I also didn't like the Java challenge.... Not because we didn't know who each other was (I personally DID know who was who, as did another person) but because nothing was explained thoroughly... It was here is your objective, now figure out how to get to that objective by yourself, but don't break any rules that we aren't going to tell you about. Other than that, I enjoyed using my brain power to figure out brain teasers and patterns, and get to the goal. –alison
were the popups and ezboard *that* bad as you guys made it seem?
EZ Board was great, but the popups were Worse then we made them seem!!! Much much worse, I dreamed about them, horrible horrible dreams and neverending popups trying to kill me...... –joel
Wow, Joel! It was like you were right there with me..... They weren't so bad for me at the beginning.... But lately, with every click of the mouse, 2 or 3 and the LIVE WEB CAM ad that will NEVER DIE! Horrible, nasty, foul... But tolerable because the ezboard is very good, and easy to read... Especially with the mark forum read button... –alison
Yes in fact I am tempted to use EZboard for my next game I run, if only I can figure out a way to kill those pop ups..... –joel
The popups were a real pain in the butt. I did think that EZBoard is designd great though, I really enjoyed the format. –jeff
if there was any one part of the game that you would change, what would it be (roundtable, interviews, x-console, challenges...etc)?
I would keep 3 or 4 people in each hotel room at a time... Keeps things active. And also I would change the long long long lulls in game play, especially when we see producers and agents online who COULD fill us in on little things, or keep us busy will small things to do, but go days without anything. Other than that, this game rocked, and was fun to play. –alison
I think the hotel rooms were not utilized quite as well as I imagined they could have.....too bad you couldn't design the game in an avatar enviroment....that would be cool! I also think that although it was nice to have Li in the game, it seems like it was kind of hard working with her since her timezone was so out of sync with ours....I think that it should be restricted to a tighter range of zones unless the game was specifically targeted as an international venue. I also think the game should have had more smaller group challenges that would have interacted more......this group does one thing and their actions develop assistance or hinderance to another group....etc... Whatelse....... Well, we never did get to use our agent numbers....what's the deal with that? ;-) –jeff
AND!!!!! I wish that the interview questions changed each episode, keeping them all and rotating the really important ones, and throwing a few new ones in for excitement. I'd change that! –alison
